The National Skills Academy for Retail aims to be the definitive answer to the skills needs of retailers, employees and those hoping to work in retail.

Through the UK’s first network of local high street retail skills shops, training and support will be offered to everyone from pre-employment through to degree level.

The retail skills shops will:

• provide access to world-class skills and business support for retailers whatever their size, wherever they are located.
• lead the drive for professional rewarding careers and skills development for everyone who works in retail.
• create a consistent national approach for training and skills in the UK’s largest private industry sector.
