The National Skills Academy for Power will be made up of a national co-ordination and administration hub, which will work with regional clusters of training providers.
Each regional training cluster may include power sector companies’ internal training provision and high-quality private, further education and higher education providers.
The Skills Academy will ensure that these training providers attain the high performance standards expected of them.
The Learning and Skills Council’s quantitative assessment of performance, the Framework for Excellence, and the new Training Quality Standard will be integral to this process.
