The Skills Academy will identify high quality learning and qualifications which are valued by the sector, make it easy to access them and make it easy to understand what they cover.
The Skills Academy will be an online entity and will not deliver training directly. It will license a network of Academy Delivery Partners who will deliver learning and qualifications that have been endorsed by the Skills Academy as valued by employers.
The delivery network will include high quality providers of training and education - private providers, employers, universities and colleges - building on the unique strengths of each. This will allow training to be delivered in the way that works best for each individual, including e-learning, face to face methods and on-the-job learning.
